The Jacksonville location of Connect America Insurance Agency was opened in 1961 by Ben Ossi. The company is a member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, and is independently owned and locally operated by Michael Mayer.
Mayer started his career in insurance in 1990 specializing in property claims and commercial and personal line sales and management after completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the New York Institute of Technology.
